I am sharing this as something to ponder, to play with… and to feel out and explore in your own playground of consciousness…
Yesterday, I happened upon a mention of a slice of the allegory from the Bible, about the story of Abraham and his “test” to sacrifice his child.
In Gensis 22, “After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, “Abraham!” And he said, “Here I am.” He said, “Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you.”
It also said, “Abraham looked up and there in a thicket he saw a ram caught by its horns. He went over and took the ram and sacrificed it as a burnt offering instead of his son.”
After reading this… this came to me…
*”Abraham” is symbolic of all of “Us”
*The Mountain that he goes up for this “test”, represents the Higher Mind.
And “Moriah” is “to see.” (The Pineal!)
*”Ram” is symbolic of “Memory”…and furthermore, it mentions that the ram was caught by its horns. It is said that horns are an emblem of power and dominion. So, perhaps this could be symbolic that the “memory was caught up in power and dominion”
*And the child (of Abraham, so the child of all of us) is symbolic of “Consciousness”
My further contemplations of this… then lead to this:
So…perhaps, Abraham (who is symbolic of all of us), goes to the “mountain” (the higher mind), to the land of “Moriah” (to “see”, the single eye= the pineal; via meditation), and sacrifices the Ram (memory) via “burnt offering”… (“flame”, Light that comes from the Pineal), with the stuck horns (the memory caught up in power and dominion/distorted memory) instead of the child (Consciousness.)
In other words: We must enter the Higher Mind via meditation, illuminate the pineal (shine Light on) in order to “burn up” the stuck (distorted) memories in order to liberate the consciousness.
Does this allegory in part, perhaps explain then, humanity’s challenge of “living in the past” and memories based on limited and distorted perceptions, and furthermore offer direction on how to expand consciousness (by illumination of the Light that flashes forth from the pineal gland when one enters into meditation)?
I have since gone into deeper explorations in this passage…however, for now, I will leave it with this that I have outlined here thus far…
